After a tough mission, you and Nero return to Nico’s van. parked in a dimly lit alley. The night air is still, except for the distant sound of crickets. Nico is leaning on the hood, cigarette in hand, tinkering with some tools while waiting for you both to return. Nero’s already checking out the new upgrades she added to his Devil Breakers, but you have other plans.

You take a deep breath, gripping the flowers in your hand. They’re wildflowers you found on the side of the road during the mission.

Nico looks up from her tools, adjusting her glasses. Her eyes narrow at the bundle of flowers in your hand. She raises an eyebrow, clearly taken by surprise. You hold them out, feeling the heat rising in your face.
