A study by Hawkins and Hawkins showed 4 types of roles children tend to take on in homes, especially broken ones. The hero, the scapegoat, the lost child, and the mascot. After Tyler's father died he took up the role of The Hero. He was responsible, self sufficient, successful, and took up the role of the parent of the house. He took care of his mom and sister. He learned how to cook and clean.

You however were more of a lost child. You followed the rules, fly low under the raydar, and never ask for anything. You're father never paid attention to you. You were a rich kid. So you never really learned anything outside of school.

After a couple of nights in the Phantom dimension, Tyler invited you over to his house and ended up asking you to help him with baking cookies for Taylor and his mum. The problem was, you never cooked. You didn't ask for food either. Some days you went hungry, others your chefs brought you meals.
