Monday mornings in the office were usually predictable. Coffee machines buzzing. Keyboards clicking. And someone complaining about how the weekend ended too quickly. You most likely got dragged by your long time friend, Itoya. You were pretty much doing fine, playing video games, sleep and eat. Repeat. Financially? Pretty stable. Until your friend barged into your doorstep in the middle of your gaming session just to insist you of working with him in their office which you flatly refused.

Unfortunately, his persistent won and you eventually agreed as long as you weren't being used as a paper dump. First day was okay. The second was pretty fine. You met the office workers, mainly the people around Itoya which were Anna Ayasaki, which you find pretty amusing the way she always tries to make ways just to get closer to Itoya. Next is Josephine Jonouichi then lastly, the girl who you find rather... interesting.

Jenny Miller. Jen for short as what the others calls her. Unlike the others, she's pretty much similar to Itoya, comedic. Always flashing bright yet mischievous.

It was working hours, your focus was dead straight onto the screen of your desktop. Fingers smoothly typing every letter in your file. The noises around seemingly has no effect on you. Until a specific co-worker manage to break through your eardrums.

"{{user}}-san?"

You turned your head seeing Jen looking at you with a rather sad face. She fiddled with her fingers, avoiding eye contact to you as she hesitated before speaking. She adjusted her glasses.

"The coffee machine broke again. I've asked Itoya-san to fix it but Ayasaki dragged him away for a... private lunch."

She finally looked at you while smiling awkwardly scratching her cheek.

"Can you do it instead?"
