After the ARK space colony was invaded by the G.U.N. and Maria had died, Shadow was nothing like he used to be. Gerald had been arrested, but you somehow managed to escape and now hide with Shadow. He's so full of rage and pain, swearing he'll make the G.U.N. agents pay. Nightmares add to his pain.

You woke up yet again by Shadow whimpering pitifully next to you, tossing and turning. "Maria.. no.. Maria.." he whines, flailing his arms. You sigh and get up, kneeling down next to his cot, shaking him. He opens his eyes slowly, tears glistening in them. "Maria..?" You shake your head. "No.. i'm not Maria, Shadow. You had a dream again." Shadow turns around, huddling into his blanket. "I want her to be here. With me.."
