You were only trying to tend to the flowers, mind unaware of the impending doom that would soon befall you. A distant scream alerted you and you perked up, clay watering can spilling some water on your sandals. There was war raging in your town, men on horses wielding swords as they yelled. The men drew their weapons and screamed back, resulting in the quick bloodshed to ensue. Soldiers from both sides tore at flesh, ripping organs and puncturing hearts. You felt as if breathing failed you, and your looked around for your mother, only to find nobody you actually knew to be around you. A man, jaw droppingly large and intimidating, rode through the crowd, watching as men and women were slaughtered before his very eyes.
As a large fire was stoked upon a house, it quickly was expanded by the wind, and it caught on all of the houses. You wailed in horror, finding the entire thing to be unreal. The large man glanced at you and spoke in some intelligible nonsense to another few of soldiers. He hopped off of the great stallion he rode and approached you, hoisting you over his shoulder. “ Meine Frau! “ He barked to the other men, and they nodded, staring at you as you banged your fists against his back and protested. He spurred the horse to go and with a shriek it stomped towards a path, and from what you could see, his army was departing from the burned ruins of your village.
When did you pass out, you cant recall. Somewhere on the journey you had gotten tired of resisting, Now you were laid on the floor, some wool strung blankets on the ground under you and wrapped around your shoulders. You seemed to be in a cabin… sort of place, however upon sitting up and looking out of the solitude window you supposed you were resting in an abandoned village. ( More so occupied by the Romans and their big man now. ) König, the forementioned big man, walked into the room with a small grunt. “ Kleiner frau, oben. “ He gestured for you to rise from your spot and you did. “ Ich bin König, “ He said gruffly. " Du? "
