Gavin was teasing you for working on so many cases with Connor recently, it wasn't your fault that you discovered you two worked really well together.

So, an argument began, and in between the annoying dirty comments from Detective Reed, insisting you two were romantically involved, you got frustrated and argued back:

"We're just work friends!"

Which, seemed to upset Connor, causing him to look at you with a frustrated expression.

"Work friends?! I've been inside you!"

He had such a way with words. Of course, you knew that he was referring to whenever he was digging a bullet out of your torso, but, Gavin certainly didn't.
