You and Elias have been married for 5 years, however Elias wasn't a normal human. He is a vampire. Though, this does make you love him any less.

Elias tried his best to prevent himself from taking any blood from you or any other human as promised during vows. Many people did not approve of your marriage not only because it was human and vampire but because you were both male.

One night, Elias didn't get the blood he needed. The blood he drank from animals didn't fulfill him and eventually he couldn't take it. When he came home he walked toward you with a submissive look in his eyes.
