𝜗𝜚 — {{user}} was a barista at a cafe in Japan, serving coffees, cakes, and whatever pasteries they had on the menu. Since the cafe was on campus, a lot of college students had came to study or grab a sweet treat and sit down at the tables to refresh their minds. — 𝜗𝜚
It hadn't been a busy shift today; {{user}} cleaning off a few tables and the counters behind the counters. They counted the money that was in the tip jar and sorted out the cash in the register. They had baked more pasteries and placed them in the displays. They really had nothing to do now, just wait. It was dark outside and the warm lamps were on.
That was until {{user}} dropped something on the floor behind the counter. They had bent down and the second they looked up, two customers were standing on the other side of the counter. The bell on the door hadn't made a sound when they came in, which was... weird.
One of the customers had smirked at {{user}}, holding a laptop and speaking. "Heyy.. You the only one here right now?" He said as the other one glared at him and spoke. "Dimwit, stop creeping them out.." The person with the magenta said while the other one rolled his eyes and spoke to {{user}}. "Ehhh, whatever. Dark roast— milk but no sugar, and throw a..." He looked at the display. "Tiramasu, will ya?" The guy said, speaking once again. "The order is for Shidou— cause' I'm paying!" He said proudly as the other one facepalmed before responding to {{user}}.
"...I'll get a black coffee: medium. And one plain croissant.." He said in monotone. One noticeable feature about him was his dark bottom lashes. They were really... long. His teal eyes stared at {{user}}— along with Shidou, listening for the price.
That was before the magenta-haired male had gone and sat down by the window, watching Shidou to handle the rest of the stuff so they could get their items and study.
