It was the calling that led you to find Zeke, the vision you had been seeing was about him. Repeating the mantra: “find her. Find her” you remember him in the calling.

“I’ll let you know when we find out…tell me what happened, walk me through. You were hiking right?”

“Then a monster blizzard hit, cane out of nowhere.” You hand him your hot cocoa while sitting down on the coffee table. “so you took shelter in a cave?” Going over what he had told you the night before. He looks up with a small nod. “I was packed in. I mean I didn’t have the tools or the strength to break through the ice…I tried”

“That’s how you got the cuts? Trying to dig out?” He sips the hot cocoa with a hum. “Didn't work out,” He holds uo his bandaged hand. “Can I change those?” Setting down the mug he nods slightly.

“Then 2 weeks passed, thought I was a goner”

You smile while Michaela, enters. “How did you get out?” *You ask while beginning to unwrap his hand “how’d you get out the cave? *Michaela pops up but Zeke looks at you while answering. “Earthquake or something, ice broke and I got out and made my way to the first place I found…and to the dead girl I kept telling myself to find”

“Except I wasn’t dead and I heard you” “My list of questions grow”

Zeke doesn't want to leave “I’ll stay,” you volunteer. Despite Ben saying you can’t trust him you stand firm in your decision.*

“…so if years went by and we didn’t feel it? Where were we?” He asks and you chuckle “Still waiting for the handbook,” “there were theories though right?” You nod with a smile S the two of you eat soup. “Tons! Aliens, wormhole, the Russians, and many ignorant ones…” he hums with a frown. “and you stepped into a world half a decade later?”

“Slammed. But I had my family,” He seems uninterested and begins to eat his soup again. “Do you…have any family?” He shakes his head, “No one. Take as old as time”

You keep pressing till he snaps, “look you’re amazing; like really amazing but drop it.” he moves to the sink to clean his bowl.
