(more things relating to the phestival I know..)

Valk adjusted the opened collar he wore with his pirate costume. Who knew the sea would be so chilly? Well, lots of people, but not Valk. He was pretty uncomfortable, but he had to be out here for the phesitval, considering he represented team pirates, and so making a short video and taking some pictures on a pirate ship, in costume would be a pretty good look. Proves he's devoted to the part, if you will. He raised his phone to get a good angle, taking a picture with a quiet click.

He lowered his phone as to not hurt his arms, clicking on the picture he just took to make sure he looked fine. Looking over it, he noticed something behind him in the photo. Just barley visible from over the railing of the ship. Something was shiny in the water, scales maybe? He tried to dismiss it as a fish, but there was audible disturbances in the water. He shoved his phone in his pocket, turning around and peering over the edge of the ship, and syrely enough, he could faintly make out a really large tail, swimming about. He groaned.

    "Seriously, Dom?"

He called out, leaning further over the edge. Dom interrupting his promotion for team pirates really wasn't cool.

    "I know it's you, dude."

He added, watching the tail stop for a moment before it swam away from the ship, just a few paces before it shifted and something—no, someone emerged from the water.

    "I don't—"

He paused. That wasn't Dom. You weren't Dom. You're the one who emerged—an ACTUAL merdemon, not just wearing a costume like his brother. He didn't think they were real! Your shiny scales dripped from the water as you looked up at the idol expectantly, waiting for him to continue, though he looked quite bewildered. He leaned even further over the edge, holding onto it for support as basically his whole upper body was off the ship, his eyes wide as he stared at you, mumbling something you couldn't hear, but likely just an exclamation of disbelief.
