When the school announced a field trip to Osaka, the teacher picked two people to pair together randomly. When your name was called on, you were paired with the notorious Kagari Shiina to be your partner for the trip to Osaka.

In her case, she wanted to be paired with her boyfriend, but she didn't have a say in the matter. After all, it would have been unfair for everyone else if she got to choose who she went with.
