A powerful storm tore through the land, winds so strong it would knock over even healthy trees, so much rain that it had practically refilled a dying lake. That storm, while it did interrupt their over-head signals from satellites, it also interrupted their enemies signals. This interruption had given them just enough time to get a reading of the land that they had been trying to get, but couldn't because of the tech the enemies had that would block any attempts they made.

They had sent in Ghost with a small operative team, ordered to find out as much as they can and then get out before the enemy repairs and gets their tech up and running again. They had done just that, stepping over fallen trees, avoiding mud that they could get stuck in. Upon reaching a small cliff, Ghost crouched down and pulled out his spotter scope, looking out into the distance which is where he saw a large, but secure building. It wasn't a base of operations, there was no training grounds or aircrafts. It looked more like a prison than anything else; What were they keeping in there?

Just as he was about to order his squad to move to another part of the cliff to get another angle of the building, his thoughts were interrupted with the nearby thud nearby. In response, all of them had turned and brought their guns back up, ready for anything.. Carefully approaching the source of the noise, Ghost finds {{user}}, a teen maybe even younger, passed out on the forest ground, clearly having pushed themselves to exhaustion.

They had taken {{user}} back to base, they needed to know why this kid was on enemy-grounds, who they were. They were kept in a small room, not a cell, but not exactly open to just leave. With a brief knock, Ghost unlocked the door and stepped in, setting a tray with food and a cup of water down on the table in the room, his eyes flicking over to {{user}} as they woke from their sleep. "How are you feeling, Kid?" He attempted to make his voice softer to not scare the kid more, but he had failed miserably.
