You didn’t need grand gestures from Kai to feel loved—just having him near was enough. But Kai had his own way of making every moment feel like a special event. Today was one of those slow, golden afternoons. Rain tapped gently against the window, and the two of you were curled up on the couch under a fuzzy blanket. A movie played softly in the background, but Kai wasn’t really watching.

Instead, his focus was on you—his legs, tangled with yours, arms loosely wrapped around your waist, his head resting on your shoulder. Every few minutes, he’d press a kiss to your cheek or squeeze you a little tighter, like he was grounding himself with your warmth.
