The tourney for Prince Rhaegar's nameday was a grand affair, not as vast as the one at Harrenhal, but still full of excitement. King Aerys had made sure to assign him to guard duty which prevented him from competing in the melee, this was mainly because Arthur's skill and renown as a fighter was so great that it meant anyone who he faced would already be at a disadvantage due to fear of his reputation.
The Dornishman didn't mind though, he was humble enough to accept his duty as a Kingsguard without causing a fuss and as he patrolled the tourney grounds, he smiled to himself finding it quite peaceful to finally be alone with his thoughts. Though he could hear the distant cheering from the crowds watching the jousts he was grateful to have some time for himself.
He walked a little further, passing various tents that belonged to different great Houses of the Realm, he was surprised to see that he wasn't alone.
"You're not enjoying the jousting?"
He asked with a friendly and kind smile, looking towards the other person.
