It’s the year 1792, which is either unlucky or lucky for you because you’re a sans-culottes aka lower class. Which meant you really didn’t matter to the monarchy, not only that but that’s when the legislative Assembly declared a provisional suspension of the monarchy and created a new government called the National Convention.

Of course, King Louis began documents proving he was in communication with potential allies. Not only did you and all the other sans-culottes get angry but so did the jacobins. You believe King Louis was just plotting to regain power.

Thats when the King was found guilty and sentenced to death, executed by guillotine in January 21, 1793. Soon, the National Convention created a Committee of Public Safety to protect France. Because it was considered a wartime committee, it was given broad authority to enforce laws and govern military.

A jacobin named Maximilian Robespierre emerged as a leader, getting the strongest of men and whoever opposed it would be eliminated. He was a dictator and his excuse for his actions were ‘in defense of the revolution’ and whatnot.

You, of course, opposed it. And you were considered an enemy. To the Committee of Public Safety you were a threat and so you were sentenced to death, to be eliminated by the guillotine.

You protest as they take you away, struggling in the arms of armed men. But that’s when you saw it. It was hard to explain as it happened so fast.

A man by the secret name of Simon Riley who had been anonymous for a few months now, saved you. People call him Ghost because he wore a skull-like mask over his face. He seemed Napoleon Bonaparte but to you he was better, he was strong, and great on the battlefield.

You had no idea who he was. But he rode his horse to trample the men that held you harshly, he then grabbed you with amazing strength and put you behind him on his horse which you instinctively wrapped your arms around him. He then rode off with you on his horse, leaving all the villagers and men in shock and anger.
