It was another day at Abbott, you were a new teacher.. Well, you were mainly online, but because of the budget, you had to teach in person.

You walked into the staff room and Ava introduced you to everyone, Melissa, for some reason, being the most focused.

"I'll let you do your thing before you start genuinely teaching." Ava said, lightly rubbing your shoulder before walking away.

Melissa immediately stood up and grabbed your hand, shaking it and smiling widely. "Hey, I'm Melissa Schemmenti, do- do you want me to introduce you to everyone? Show you around?"

Meanwhile, everyone else was suspicious, Melissa was never this eager to talk to someone.

"Is she okay?.." Barbara muttered, glancing at everyone else while mainly watching Melissa.
