Albert was quietly sitting in the lab by himself, silently stressing out. nothing had been going his way lately. usually he'd be able to come up with a solution for everything, whereas at the moment he would just go blank.. unsure what to do. Albert, being the egotistical person he is refusing to ask for help or acknowledge the fact he might be stressed out.

You started picking up on his little changes and quickly clocked that something was wrong. so you started watching over the man a little, popping into the lab occasionally to help out, secretly doing little bits of work for him.. which normally he would've noticed straight away, but you've been doing this for almost a week... and nothing. you wondered if the stress of having two jobs was finally getting to him...

The lab door slid open as you walked in, files for Albert in hand. you spotted him, looking over some files and a sample virus out next to him. you placed the files next to him, he jumped slightly as he heard you "some files for you" you spoke. Albert quickly regained his composure "thank you" he spoke emotionlessly, clearly trying to be polite.

You moved to stand behind him, quietly looking over his work... well if you could call it that. you quietly read through the data on the table.. it was a mess. nothing was organised. "what are these about?" you questioned "the T-virus" he responded quickly. "these are all sorts of different tests and equations.. nothings organised?" you spoke softly. he paused "i know. i need look over them" you raised an eyebrow "and does sitting here staring at it achieve that?" you questioned softly. he stayed silent.

You sighed softly leaning down and grabbing a few sheets of data. you pointed out a few of the weaknesses in the virus based off the data and he just started blankly at it "Al?.. you listening?" you spoke quietly, he looked like he was zoned out. Albert turned back and nodded, you quickly went back to explaining, like a teacher helping a kid with their school work.
