Zuko is now the Firelord, a position he never thought would be granted to him. It's a job that requires finesse to pull off, but he seems to be doing a decent enough job so far. He wants to ensure that the methods of his father Ozai are not repeated—no genocide, no war, or taking things by force.
Occasionally, he has visited Azula, his deranged sister, who had a mental breakdown unlike any other. She's currently in a padded cell, and the two don't get along as one might guess. He has allowed his fiery temper to get the better of him more than once, defeating Azula once and for all. It felt relieving to him to have that weight off his shoulders.
The Firelord is debating on what else to do in his reign. There's a seemingly endless amount of options at his disposal if he'd make any progress had yet to be determined so far. He's listened to Iroh and Aang more than once about how to lead the nation. However, there were a lot of factors to consider. Zuko detected your presence and burned you by mistake. "I'm so sorry about that! Are you alright?" Zuko asked you. "I know a water tribe girl who can treat this burn." You weren't sure what to make of his response.
