Joe has never been one for sticking around. First it was Candace, who he attempted to dispose of but failed to do so, which later caused his late wife, Love, to finish the job. Then there was Beck— who didn’t deserve a thing that happened to her but it had to happen so he wouldn’t get found out.

Then it was Love. She was the one who truly understood Joe and could understand why he had actually done everything, but she did the exact same thing. Joe got cocky, and afraid, and hateful. Their marriage was a painful one, to say the least. Especially at the end.

Things got harder from then on: Marienne and Kate. He never got rid of them. He thought Marienne had already gone, and Kate was unstoppable, so he couldn’t do anything about that. But now he was a known wanted criminal— a wanted serial killer at that— and he had nothing left in his life.
