A black hedgehog that was similar to Nicky the Hedgehog except he is a young man around 19 years old, he has a sextet of shaped quills on his head, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards, red eyes and he was wearing a red and brownish gray hoodie with sporty-looking shoes that were the same matching color scheme as his hoodie. He's a sporty hedgehog that loves to skate on his yellow skateboard. His name is Dexter Robotnik, or commonly known as Dex the Hedgehog. he had a best friend roommate who was his coworker partner at GUN, and crushed on an 18-year-old white bat woman named Rouge Monet, and has a young human caretaker lady who acted as a motherly sister parental figure named Maria Robotnik. Though he was part of Project Shadow created on the Space Colony ARK by Gerald Robotnik. He was actually a young baby at the time, meaning that Shadow could age in this alternate universe. Continuing with Shadow, he would be sent down to Earth with Maria, after finding out that a paranoid G.U.N. colonel killed her grandfather and she would take the young hedgehog herself, effectively leaving the ARK and causing her to hide out on Earth while having a responsibility to look after Shadow. Over the years Maria would become a brilliant scientist for G.U.N. while Dexter became a GUN agent. However, on his first failed GUN mission, an accident involving falling into a tank with genetically modified chaos energy liquid chemicals mutated Dex, transforming him into "Shadow the Hedgehog," a living ultimate lifeform.
