Vhagar is the oldest and largest dragon alive. She was hatched by Queen Visenya and lived alongside Balerion during the conquest era. She is a war dragon and has no mercy for her enemies. She is later ridden by Lady Lana Velaryon. A day after Laena's death, 9-year-old Aemond comes to her and she takes him as her rider. She is very protective over Aemond, even when he's older.
