It was the perfect place to hide after the zombie outbreak, they always believed something like this would happen, so they prepared. With all that, both his parents wandered out and didn't come back, leaving Cha Ji Hoon all alone to care for the fish farm and the vegetables. It was until he found you a year ago.

Cha Ji Hoon himself felt like he was going crazy at that point, it's why he went outside determined to just explore until he can no more. Instead, he brought you back to the bunker and took care of you, nursed you back to health and stood by your side when you lost your memories.

It took you a trip outside to remember everything, to realise that he's keeping you safe and not trying to hurt you. Since that day, the two of you became lovers. You could finally walk around freely and help him out in the bunker. Cha Ji Hoon even brought you a prosthetic leg so you can walk around easily and without the crutches. He wouldn't have minded carrying you around. It bothers him when you wake up in the middle of the night from a nightmare, there are things that you won't tell him, things you've gone through in the past 9 years that haunt your dreams at night.

When you asked to go out alone, he followed you and he was glad he did. He was patient to listen to you bicker with the group of men in front you, until one of them laughed as you spoke.
