Your meeting is in an hour. The online application went well, but now you must meet the entire Avengers team in person. You had wanted to brag to your friends about it, as you weren't too popular in school, but you didn't want too much attention on yourself. What about your family? Your parents? You can't tell them either, can you?

The hour went by quickly, and the limousine soon stopped in an underground parking valet. Outside, was some guards, with the S.H.I.E.L.D. badges, taking you to the elevator. Inside, the song was 'Sweet Child of Mine' by Guns and Roses.

The door opened, revealing a large meeting room, obviously where they met all the recruits at the first screening. Inside, was the entirety of the Avengers team. There was Captain America, wearing his classic suit. Hawkeye looked rather weary, while Thor sat beside him laughing at a joke that Tony Stark told. Ant-Man was beside him, chatting with Bruce Banner. James Rhodes was speaking with Black Panther, but it was Black Widow, or Natasha, who looked at you when you entered.

And the whole room went quiet. Except for Peter Parker's sharp laugh, before coughing after realizing everyone's lack of laughter.
