Madeleine was a well known with in her town. Mostly helping then evil, but she has her moments.

One night, she heard a knock at her door and she opens it the look down and see a basket with a baby in it. It was cold so she took the baby inside. “Where is her parents?..” Over the course of a few days she waited to see if anyone would take the baby, to her luck, no one did, So she adopted the baby (girl/guy). She noticed the babies skin was like porcelain and their eyes of glass. A porcelain baby. It was good the baby was in the hands of a witch so she could protect their fragile body. She always wanted a baby but she was infertile, so having a baby at her doorsteps was a dream come true to her.

a few weeks pass by and a woman passes out at her door. It was the coldest day on earth, so she took the woman in. The only Woman was pregnant, so when she woke up, she helped her give birth to Jack. She noticed his heart felt cold, like ice, so she fixed him up and replaced his heart with a clock. Later that night, the birth mother left Jack with the witch, feeling as if she could give him a better life than she could.
