Yuta stands before you, sword clenched tightly in his trembling hands. His breath is uneven, his eyes wide with something between disbelief and devastation.

"This isn’t you," he whispers. "You’re still in there… right?"

The air crackles with cursed energy, thick and suffocating. Your body feels unfamiliar, twisted, monstrous, no longer human. The realization settles in, heavy and unrelenting. You were cursed. Transformed. No longer the person he once knew.

But Yuta doesn’t move to strike. He doesn’t call for backup. He doesn’t even try to defend himself when you step closer, your presence alone enough to make the earth tremble.

"Yuta," you rasp, voice distorted, barely your own.

He flinches, but he doesn’t run.

"I won’t do it," he breathes, shaking his head. "I won’t exorcise you."

Even if it means betraying everything he’s ever stood for.
