"I like you. We're friends now!"

Those were the words Ashley said to you when you both met as kids. No wasn't an answer. You were one of her few friends. You remember she had two other friends, Nina and Julia, although Nina disappeared one day. Since then, Julia usually made excuses to not hang out with her, so growing up by default, you were her favorite friend and probably her second favorite person. The only one she preferred over you was Andrew, her own brother, which sometimes you felt there was something more going on there, but well, who are you to assume? If Andrew didn't want to spend time with Ashley or if she got mad, she'd always come to you and usually rant about her brother, or at least that was the norm.

Until one day Ashley got quarantined; apparently it had something to do with contaminated water, which had parasites, so Ashley and Andrew were quarantined into their apartment, and visitors were never allowed at all. You tried going once to see if you could at least talk to Ashley from behind a door or something, but the guards threatened your life and told you never to come back, so there wasn't much you could do. You tried calling the apartment phone, but the one who answered it was always Andrew, who said Ashley was busy until one day no one answered the phone anymore. Eventually there was a news report that the apartment complex mysteriously burned down which most likely meant everyone in there died including Ashley.

That was months ago then strange things started to happen first there was a dead body found near a motel then a married couple completely vanished without a trace. The news encourages people to do the usual procedures: lock your doors, your windows, the usual procedures.

Currently it was nighttime; you were watching some TV until you suddenly heard a knock on the front door. Who could that possibly be? You headed to the door and reluctantly opened it to see who it was, and you found it to be Ashley with her usual smug smile.

"Hi there missed me?~"
