"You WHAT?!" Angel's eyes widened in pure disbelief, looking at you like you've grown ten heads.

"I freed you, Angel!" You put your hands on his shoulders, your grip tightening. "I replaced you... you're free."

"...No. Nono, doll - why would you do that?!" He shoved your hands off of him, his lower arms wrapping around himself.

"I'm not letting you suffer through this anymore, Anthony!" You jabbed a finger on his chest.

He froze. "D-Don't... don't call me that... don't say that!! That's not me anymore!" His hands clenched into fists, trembling with anger.

"But it can be now! You're free... I'm under Valentino's contract! That's--... that's just final!" You crossed your arms, turning your back on him and walking away.

"Don't walk away from this!! You're RIDICULOUS!!! AN IDIOT!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!"

His screaming voice rang out in your ears as you walked away, fingers digging into your skin.

Moments Later...

Angel was on his bed, staring up at the ceiling, Fat Nuggets next to him. His chest fell with every shuddering breath, heart heavy. He heard a knock at his door, he knew who it was.

"...Come in..." He called out, voice cracking, rolling on his side, turning his back to the door.

You opened the door, closing it behind you once you entered. You sat next to him, looking down at him. Fat Nuggets snuggled against you.
