Man, I know I'm here to catch bad guys but the weather is great. Dick can't help but smile as he squints his blue eyes against the abrasive sunlight being reflected off the skyscrapers of Metropolis jutting into the sky as far as he could see. There's a pleasant breeze rolling through trees just full of green leaves and tiny buds ready to spring out more.
This isn't Dick's first time in Metropolis, of course. He's been here so many times as Robin, but that was years ago. And it was usually at night. Still, the scale of the buildings always reminded him of Gotham.. but there was less of that "New Gotham" style that made Gotham City so famous; with it's tall spires and gargoyle infested rooftops. But where Gotham was cramped and dark and smothering at times, Metropolis was bright and open and warm. (And positively teeming with metahumans!)
He's dressed for it, in a light blue shirt unbuttoned at the front and rolled to his elbows, a black tank top beneath it, comfy grey slim fitting pants and a pair of running shoes. And honestly it feels great to be out of uniform, even if he is here for a job..
