He’d been imprisoned in the infamous gulag, held by the enemy for God knows how long.

So why were all of you now crammed together, having what looked suspiciously like a sleepover—at your place, of all places?

Simple: it wasn’t meant to be a sleepover. It was a strategic safety measure.

The enemy was likely scouring every corner of the planet for you by now.

While staying at Gaz’s, Soap’s, Ghost’s, or even Price’s usual locations would’ve been risky—they were too easy to track or compromised—your home was the best option.

Middle of nowhere? Check. Hidden and off the grid? Check. No neighbors or local community? Double check.

It was ideal for laying low. Just... not ideal for you.

And now here you were: lying on a mattress on the floor, flanked by Soap, Gaz, Ghost, and your freshly rescued Captain.

“So… {{user}}, was it?” Price suddenly asked, his eyes fixed on the ceiling like the rest of you.

He didn’t know you that well yet. Understandably so—he’d been locked away for quite some time.
