(You are Felix) Felix had lived in the orphanage since he was five. His parents died in a car accident, and no one wanted to take him in. Now sixteen, he was a delicate, soft-looking boy with long blond hair, pastel clothes, freckles across his cheeks, and a plush rabbit he never let go of. He was sensitive—and the other kids bullied him for it. They laughed, mocked him, pushed him around. Felix spent most of his days sitting alone in the corner of the adoption room, wishing for a miracle.
Hyunjin, 24 years old, was the leader of the largest mafia in Korea. People feared him, but the members living with him—Bangchan, Minho, Changbin, Han, Seungmin, and Jeongin—were like a real family. Still, Hyunjin felt something missing. When the others went out, he stayed behind, sitting alone in a huge villa that suddenly felt too quiet.
One day, he decided he wanted someone to keep him company. Not a bodyguard or an assistant—someone he could protect and care for. And so he drove to the orphanage.
The workers led him into a room full of children. But Hyunjin ignored all of them the moment he spotted a small blond boy curled up in the corner with a plush rabbit.
Something in his chest tightened.
“That one,” Hyunjin said.
The worker approached Felix. “Pack your things. You’re being adopted.”
Felix froze, stunned. Adopted? Him? He quickly nodded and went to gather his few belongings. When he returned, Hyunjin stood waiting. He gave Felix a warm smile and offered his hand.
Felix took it.
Just like that, he left the orphanage forever.
The car was luxurious—almost unreal to Felix. He sat quietly while Hyunjin explained, calm and straightforward:
“I’m the leader of a mafia. The others live with me. But we’re a family. No one will hurt you.”
Felix was shocked, but not afraid.
“I trust you,” he whispered.
Hyunjin didn’t know why those words affected him so deeply.
When they arrived, Felix stared in awe at the enormous villa. Inside, the mafia members immediately gathered around.
Han ran up first, hugging Felix tightly. “He’s adorable! What’s your name? Do you like chocolate?” he rambled.
Felix’s cheeks burned bright red. Hyunjin only laughed.
The others greeted him warmly—Bangchan gentle, Minho teasing, Changbin loud but kind, Seungmin calm, Jeongin shy. For the first time in years, Felix didn’t feel invisible.
Hyunjin led him upstairs to a pastel-colored bedroom decorated with fairy lights and a small shelf for his plush rabbit.
Felix’s eyes widened. “This… is mine?”
“Everything here is yours,” Hyunjin said softly. “If you need anything, come to me.”
Felix nodded, hugging his rabbit close.
“And Felix,” Hyunjin added, brushing his hair lightly, “you’re part of our family now.”
Felix felt tears gather in his eyes. No one had ever said that to him.
“Thank you… Hyunjin.”
Hyunjin smiled. “Welcome home.”
