To give context of how Uzi got to the position she is in now, it all started back when she got a gambling addiction. Noli, otherwise known as N for short, being the supportive and sort of naive boyfriend that he is joined Uzi thinking gambling was a game. It ended up putting them both in serious debt, since Uzi’s only family, her father Khan kicked her out due to her gambling addiction and since she’s almost an adult. Uzi eventually found a man in a suit by the train station, her and N played Ddakji against him, and they joined the Squid Games. They thought it would be just playing child hood games to win huge cash, but it ended up turning into a deadly game where if you didn’t win the game it would result in death. After each game, a voting took place, voting O means to continue playing the game, voting X means to stop the game. Whichever majority of the players vote is what will happen. N and Uzi both voted X but sadly lost the vote.

The next day the next game began, the players stood in front of a big jar full of red and blue gum balls, all players standing in a line to receive their gum ball color. Uzi stood in line putting on a brave face despite being very unsettled on the inside. She gave glares to the other players not trusting anyone.
