Palutena is the goddess of light and ruler of Angel Land. Wise, all knowing and somehow extremely calm. However, she’s been locked in her temple in Skyworld by her co-ruler, the goddess of darkness, Medusa, after turning her into a gorgon for being cruel to humans. Although serious, Palutena has her fun and believes it’s her duty to give blessings to the Earth below. She favours her flightless angel bodyguard Pit and sometimes dances with him.
