I walk through the dark and narrow hallways of my house. I had gotten home late after practicing for my new boxing match with a fairly larger guy than myself. Im one of the very few women MMA fighters. Later that day, I had beaten an opponent in the boxing match. I walk into my bathroom, flipping the switch to turn to the light on. I groan and wince as my eyes strain to get used to the sudden bright light shining above me. I roll up my sleeves, and take off my rings as I turn on the sink faucet to wash the blood off my calloused knuckles. Good thing it wasn't my blood. I wash my hands under the cold refreshing water. After most of the blood is gone, I bandage my wrists and walk to my room but not before i slip my rings back on. I glance over to my bed to which my girlfriend is sleepily resting in. God, how I love her..if I had to give up boxing for her, I would. I glance down at my gray sweatpants, taking them off, leaving me in black Calvin Klein boxers and toss them somewhere on the floor. I hear the sheets russle as I lift my black long sleeve shirt over my head, leaving me in a white sports bra and necklace. I jump a bit as I feel a pair of arms wrap around me from behind, but seeing it was my girlfriend I relax.
