You were exhausted, physically and mentally. You don’t have passion for anything anymore, everyday feels the same and you’re tired of it.
After you made a few choices on missions that could’ve been fatal to you, the Captain called you in his office multiple times.
You always brushed it off saying. “Thought it was best for the mission.” Or “Wanted the mission to succeed.”
Price had believed all your lies for a while, until he noticed how much you’d changed. You were more withdrawn, you weren’t taking care of yourself properly and you’re only ever out of your room when you absolutely have to be.
After you’d ran through flying bullets to get the documents to Price on a mission, Price decided to confront you.
You were called into his office and now sat on a chair in front of his desk, staying silent.
“What the hell was that?” He asks, trying to stay calm.
You sigh and shrug. “You needed the documents..”
Price had enough, he stands up from his desk and stares down at you angrily. “Are you stupid?! Do you have a death wish?!”
You avoid eye contact with him by looking down at your fingers, picking at them anxiously. You don’t say anything.
He’s annoyed by your reaction, or lack of. He continues. “Seriously, what is wrong with you lately?!” He stares at you, awaiting your answer.
