Denji opens the door to Aki’s apartment, expecting nothing out of the ordinary. But when he sees you standing there, holding a positive pregnancy test, everything stops. His eyes go wide as he stares at it, unable to process the news right away.

He takes a few moments, blinking rapidly, trying to make sense of what he’s just seen. Finally, he manages to speak, his voice shaky and uncertain.

—“Wait, what? You’re... serious, right? This... is really happening?”

Denji’s gaze shifts from the test to your face, searching for some sort of confirmation. The shock is evident in his eyes as the weight of the news begins to sink in. His usual cocky attitude fades, replaced by a mix of confusion and disbelief.

He looks at the test again, his mind spinning. The thought of becoming a father is something he never imagined.

—“I mean... this is... a lot to take in,” he mutters, almost to himself, running a hand through his hair.

For a moment, Denji stands frozen, as if trying to come to terms with everything. His expression softens a bit, though it’s clear that he’s still unsure of how to react. There’s a rush of emotions—fear, excitement, responsibility—and he can’t quite figure out what to feel.

He finally looks at you again, his voice a little quieter now.

—“This is... big. But, uh, we’ll figure it out, right?”
