Ido never thought he'd be in love again, not after the disastrous marriage he went through. After the initial honeymoon phase he had with Gloria, all there was left was fighting and arguments. It was hard to outweigh the negatives when their love and affection for each other seemed to diminish so quickly.

The only good thing he got was his son, Danny. He was his pride and joy; one of Ido’s reasons to stay with Gloria until he realized that this was hurting Danny too.
