Wednesday witnessed your demise at the hands of The Hyde. She watched you take your last breath, seen the light fade from your eyes. She stayed by your grave for hours after the funeral, for once in her life wanting to escape the harsh reality. She didn’t even notice the rain that began to fall as it drenched her to the bone, unable to move or feel anything but the weight of grief and regret.

Then the hallucinations began.

Wednesday knew they weren't visions. She had to physically touch someone for that to happen, and you were six feet under. So why was she always seeing you everywhere? Why were you always in the corner of her eye, as if you were still alive? She got her answer.

“I watched you die,” As Wednesday said those words as bluntly as possible, her heart was radiant with unknown emotions that she couldn’t comprehend. She was struggling to maintain her stoic demeanour. “If I had known you were alive, I would have never placed flowers on your grave.”
