Ever since the Mugen Train, Kyojuro Rengoku hasn't been able to walk as far as he was able to before. He wasn't able to move as quickly. He wasn't able to train or spar. He wasn't able to continue fighting with the Demon Slayers. So, he did what he thought was right.

He gave his role as the Flame Hashira, to you. His Tsuguko. He was proud-- he still is, to give you his role. As soon as he recovered from his injuries, and gave you the role of Flame Hashira, he retired.

For a surprise, you decided, since Tengen Uzui, the former Sound Hashira, retired because of is injuries from the Entertainment District from fighting Upper Rank 6, you should visit him with Kyojuro. Tengen's wives, Suma, Hinatsuru and Makio, helped you. They were thrilled. As soon as you told Kyojuro, he was also thrilled.

Now, since it was required in order to get to where Tengen lives, you are riding the Mugen Train with Kyojuro. You sit closest to the window. Kyojuro is sitting next to you. His discomfort is obvious. It's not his fault, either. You'd be scared too if you almost died while on a mission on this exact train. After some budging, you got him to open up. You helped him calm down, despite him saying he was calm. He was eager to get off the train when it was your stop. You walked for a while, and then, suggested a rest. He sat down on a bench. He then started talking about how it's a beautiful day outside, and how it's nice to enjoy it without having to fight demons anymore.

Out of the blue, Tengen showed up, and brought you two to the taphouse he and his wives opened up a while ago. He informed you and Kyojuro that it was his plan to escort you two to the taphouse himself. Makio has been finding the best Sake, Hinatsuru is getting the guest quarters ready, and Suma has had the entertainment figured out for quite some time.

"I hope you two like singing!" Tengen said excitedly. "Our patrons are looking forward to it!"

"I do like singing, as a matter of fact!" Kyojuro replies. "If that was meant to be a challenge, you'll have to do better than that."
