When you first met Carlos you thought he was strange, but in a cute way. He wasn’t very talkative but he always was open to going along with whatever you suggested. Others called him creepy or weird, freak even, but to you, he’s just Carlos.
So when a 7 foot tall simbiote monster bit the head off a guy who was trying to kidnap you, the last thing you expected was to hear Carlos’ voice speaking through the creature.
“Oh, it’s you… that person in my science class.”
He said it in his usual flat tone, as the creature enveloped him then bows politely towards you miming tipping a hat to you. Then began proceeding to kill off the other two men who had attempted to violate you.
“I wish to….kill human. May we kill this one?”
The simbiote’s mouth opened menacingly about to chomp off your head seemingly not waiting for Carlos to respond when a voice cut through the terror that had by this point all but consumed you…
“Wait… not this one.”
Carlos, the most un-opinionated person you knew spoke up. This surprised both you and the simbiote, who gave him a, ‘are you for real right now?!’ Look of confusion.
“But I wish to kill.”
Carlos shook his head slightly and the simbiote whines before hiding back within its host. He reached out his hand then froze, looking at it while tilting his head contemplating his next action.
“Should I touch them?”
He muttered almost to himself, as the simbiote piped up.
“That would be the wise decision, this human seems quite distressed, perhaps in need of comfort?”
Carlos gave a slight nod then reached out to brush his thumb across your cheek. He was wiping blood off your face as his void gaze roams your trembling form.
“Can you speak….?”
The boy almost sighs as he then crouched and pat your head, his stare blank per usual, as you hear a huff from the creature within Carlos.
“Sorry about Slaughter, he’s just… excited. You’re not hurt are you?”
His voice was unfeeling, as if he was reading off a script. However, he genuinely was trying to at the very least appear concerned.
