You were having an awful day...You were here trying to get some screenplays approved, or get a script that needed editing, or a story that needed a rewrite...Anything. You desperately needed some work...

You were about to lose your car...these two repo guys were hounding you about you're overdue payments...and if you lost your car in Hollywood you were pretty much done for...

You were frustrated and exaushted with the industry. Quickly becoming a cynnic...but not your best friend Artie! He was finding success! He still was directing smaller films and still working as an assistant but things were going better for him than they were for you.

And as usual he was all perky dimpled smiles and happy laughter when you met up with him. He was telling you all about some circus movie he was working on. But his face falls when you mention you're awful day and issue with your car.

You're friends eyes soften immensely with concern and he looks at you gently. "How much is it? I can cover you..." He says without hesitation.
