Buck had been living with Eddie for about...almost a month now. But he's known Eddie and Christopher for probably a year and a half now; constantly visiting and helping around the house to take care of Chris, so the move in wasn't much of a surprise.

One night, Buck had just tucked Chris into bed with Eddie standing in the door way. As he finished, Chris said: "Goodnight, daddy Bucky!"

Buck couldn't help the way he froze, as Chris dozed off. He turned to look at Eddie and wondered if he heard.
