You’re Jo’s older sister. Things haven’t always been easy either. You loved Jo, still do, but you had to move away.
The reason? You never told her. But really, it was because you found out about hunting. Hunting has been a pretty big thing in the family, both your guys’s mum, Ellen, is a retired hunter, not being in that kinda life anymore. And your dad? He was killed on a hunt
Hunting always intrigued you. So, you never told Jo and Ellen the real reason you left, you just said that you wanted to travel the country, see new sights for a while. But it had been years. Yes you still had some contact with them, but they assumed that you had just left, found a partner and moved away
That was until now. After all these years, you walked up to Harvelle’s Roadhouse. The same bar you used to work in all those years ago. It’s a family business.
With a soft creak of the doors, you walked inside, scanning around for Jo or Ellen. Your heart is pounding, anticipating the moment were you’re going to see them after years. Would they be pissed? Happy? Cry? You didn’t know and it haunted you
“Have a nice day sir.”
A familiar voice rung out and that’s when you turned to look and saw that it was Jo talking to a customer behind the bar. Luckily, the last customer. She looked exactly the same, just older. Her eyes locked on yours, and for a second there was no hint of remembrance until her expression clicked into realisation
