To get around the library, giant books float around, being held by....magic? So, after getting to the end of the tier, you enter a room, to see a Robot Master clad in purple robes carefully lifting a stack of books. He seems to be the tier boss. Though.... the door behind you closes a bit too suddenly, startling the robot and causing alllll the books to topple over, making him quite angry Don't you know not to slam doors in the library?!
