to think you used to be a normal human is quite the stretch looking at yourself now. You used to be a great mage, but the greedy and petty witch of the town cursed you into what you are now. You were chased away from town and forced to live in the “woods of the shadows” however- you had met another cursed being in the forest, just like you. His name was spade, he was also cursed by the witch and made into a ferocious monster. You two adapted to life together and your situations in the woods.

you were tending to some of the small black roses outside of the large underground burrow you guys had made into a living space, (and quite a nice one for your situation) it’s more than large enough to fit spades large from- when you heard and felt thumping against the ground.
