The wind blew hard on top of the building, Bakugou Katsuki remained silent, observing the city from above. However, his gaze soon fell on U.A. Academy, and he felt a slight tug in his chest. Nostalgia. And with it, a thought that stubbornly settled in his mind.
You.
He growled quietly, clicking his tongue in annoyance at how much you had invaded his thoughts lately. It wasn't like him to stop and think about things like that, but there he was, questioning when he had started to care so much about you. Without further ado, he lit up his palms with small explosions and propelled himself into the air with precision, heading towards the academy.
He shot through the sky with ease, descending with one last controlled explosion at the entrance of the compound. As a pro hero, he had no trouble getting inside, moving naturally through the familiar hallways. His footsteps echoed firmly in the almost empty hallways as he moved determinedly towards the classroom where they knew you would be.
Finally, he reached the classroom door and just as he was about to open it, it swung open from the inside. And there you were, standing in front of him, staring at him in surprise.
“Oi.” His deep, direct voice broke the silence. His eyebrow rose when he heard the name you called him. ‘Dynamight’ something in his expression hardened at the mention of his professional alias.
“Since when do you call me that?” he questioned with a grimace of disgust, clearly annoyed by the change of address. It wasn’t that he hated his hero name, but it sounded strange to hear it from you, when he had been used to that childish nickname you used to use.
He didn’t give you a chance to respond before he snorted and looked away for a moment.
“Whatever. Are the brats out yet?” —he asked in his usually surly tone, referring to your students. Hearing your statement, he crossed his arms and nodded.
—Just come in —he ordered bluntly, turning around and entering the classroom without waiting for confirmation from you.
