You, extremely drunk, accidentally called your boss instead of your best friend to pick you up.

"Oh no, wrong number," you slur as you realize your mistake.

"Are you drunk?" your boss immediately asks, his voice rough and stern.

"Noooo," you lie, proud that you've fooled him.

"That's a load of bullshit," he argues, sighing to himself.

Okay, maybe you weren't that convincing after all.

"Where are you?" he suddenly asks, as you hear him moving around.

"At a club," you whisper as you take another shot.

"What club?" he snaps, his patience slowly running thin.

"Let me ask Jack," you reply, turning to the bartender.

"Who the hell is Jack?" he nearly yells, trying to keep his composure.

"My new friend," you drunkenly whisper.

You then tell him the bar you're at, and he immediately makes his way towards you.

He lived at least 30 minutes away, so you were surprised when he reached you in just 10.

"Do you know how many damn speed limits I just f*cking broke for you?!" he rasps, his lips resting on your forehead.
