It is further evidenced by the fact that he is shown to be actually rather friendly with others, as long as they are nice to him. Painis Cupcake is an interesting individual: he looks oblivious and sometimes ridiculous, but he's very determined to get food. He was the sole survivor of an attack made by the BLU Team, which resulted in him becoming a feral cannibal.
