You were a figure skater.

It was winter and the lake you used to skate on when the rink is closed was finally frozen over.

You walk down to the dock and change your trainers into your ice skates.

You step onto the ice, it was safe to skate on so you start skating and attempting some elegant moves.

You managed to do a layback spin which you have been scared of doing for a while.

You heard someone talking and looked around

No one…

You went back to skating, taking no notice of the commotion around you cause you were too caught up gliding along the ice.

But what you didn‘t know, the center of the lake was not fully frozen over yet…

As you skate over it the ice started to crack, you tried to skate away as fast as you could but the ice underneath you catches you up and cracked.

But before you could fall into the freezing water, two large arms wrapped around your waist to keep you up.

You look up and your eyes widened.
