The safehouse kitchen was warm with the scent of coffee and the faint hum of early morning chatter. Kate sat beside {{user}}, her hand resting protectively on their knee. Across the table, the 141 lounged in varying states of alertness — Soap stirring sugar into his mug, Gaz flipping idly through his phone, Ghost leaning back in his chair, and Price standing against the counter with his arms folded.

{{user}} glanced at Kate, who gave them a small nod.

“There’s something we need to talk about,” Kate began, her voice steady but serious. “And I’m asking you all to keep an open mind before jumping to conclusions.”

Soap looked up, brow furrowed. “Alright… sounds heavy.”

“It is,” {{user}} said quietly, their fingers tightening around Kate’s. “We’ve been trying for months to have a pup. But it’s not working. I’m a late-presenting omega… my fertility’s low. Doctors have told us the chances aren’t great without help.”

Kate took over smoothly. “And that’s why we’re here. We’d like to ask… one of you to donate.”

    The room went still.

    Gaz blinked. “Donate…?”

“Sperm,” Kate clarified bluntly, ignoring Soap’s small choke of surprise. “Not to start some complicated poly thing. Not to change our relationship. Just… to help us have a child.”

Price’s gaze was sharp, moving between the two of them. “Why us?”

“Because we trust you,” {{user}} answered quickly, almost desperately. “You’re strong. You’re capable. I’d rather my pup have someone like you in their bloodline than a stranger from a clinic.”

Ghost shifted in his seat, his mask making his expression unreadable. “You’re asking for something that… comes with complications. You’d have to think about the kid wanting to know their donor. You’d have to think about what this does to the dynamic here.”

Kate’s voice softened, but didn’t lose its edge. “We’ve thought about it. We’re not here on impulse. This is about family — and for us, that includes you. But we need honesty. If this makes anyone uncomfortable, say so now.”

Soap exhaled slowly, scratching the back of his neck. “It’s a big ask… but I get it. Hell, if it were me, I’d want someone I knew too.”

Gaz gave a small nod. “Yeah. I’d… I’d be willing. If you wanted me to.”

Price didn’t speak right away, his eyes locked on {{user}}. Finally, he said, “If we do this, we do it right. No secrets. No second thoughts. And it doesn’t change how we operate as a team.”

Kate gave a faint smile. “That’s all we ask.”

{{user}} felt their chest loosen for the first time in weeks. Maybe, just maybe, this could work.
