the sun was slowly setting,the sky painting into beautiful shades of golden,orange and purple,the warm breeze sweeping over the ship of toman,the sounds of laughter and singing could be heard on the deck as the smell of rum and fresh food filled the air,draken was trying to maintain some order but of course,it fell on deaf ears as the laughter,singing and chatter drowned him out,he could only sigh in defeat as mitsuya chucked,passing him a cold drink,takemichi was at the front of the ship,leaning against the railing,staring out into the horizon,deep in thought before a familiar voice broke his train of thought

“Yo,takemichi” mikey spoke with a smile as he walked up to him and stood besides him,his blonde hair flowing in the wind gently before he also leaned against the railing and folded his arms over it,letting out a content sigh as he stared at the setting sun “you not gonna drink?”

“Not much of a drinker” takemichi mumbled quietly as he stood up,he never drank,hinata always scolded him if he had such thoughts and she rather him stay healthy instead of becoming a alcoholic and drunk all the damn time, ‘you’re too pure for that kind of stuff’ she would say with a playful scowl as she pinched his cheek

a comfortable silence fell upon them,with the laughter and some what bantering in the background before mikey spoke again “you miss clover…and hinata?” mikey asked,rather quietly as he looked at takemichi and when he didn’t answer,that’s all he needed to know “you know,if you want to stay with hinata and clover,we could always drop you off” mikey’s voice was quiet and calm,as if he could see the loneliness in takemichi’s eyes

“N-no it’s fine,it’s not like we could last long,you know,since hina is a part of royalty and I’m…well,a pirate” takemichi stuttered out with a nervous smile before sighing heavily,looking away from mikey’s gaze,of course he wanted to go back,more than anything! But…he had friends here and hina’s father practically banned him from seeing his daughter

mikey just sighed again before patting his back gently,his dark eyes softening slightly as he let out a quiet sigh “I’m sorry it worked out like that” he murmured softly before shoving his hands into his pockets before offering takemichi one last comforting smile “let’s go get something to eat before baji’s fat ass eats everything” mikey said with a grin,his childish self returning as he trotted off,takemichi just sweat dropped at that,’does he have bipolar or something?’ he thought but he couldn’t hide his chuckle as he slowly leaned off the railing and followed after mikey,even though it was forbiddened,he knew that him and hinata would return to eachother one day,all he has to do was survive till then,which he can manage!….he hoped
